CBD LABELING LIES EXPOSED – See the Special Report Now

Most of the Products Tested Were NOT Telling the Truth

The CBD industry has blossomed into a billion dollar industry in less than a decade.

Originally kickstarted by hemp activists and health researchers, the CBD movement has been infiltrated by eager entrepreneurs looking to capitalize on the CBD craze.

Without any industry standards or regulations in place to dictate how CBD oil is created — hundreds of fly-by-night companies have flooded the marketplace with untested CBD products.

What You See is NOT What You Get!

Unsuspecting customers purchasing CBD products at their local vape shop, gas station, or health food store have no idea that they may be taking home an inferior product.

They assume that because it says “600mg CBD” on the bottle — that that’s what they’re getting — but many products actually contain less CBD than the label indicates.

Worse yet, many CBD oils have been found to contain harmful substances like…

  • pesticides
  • solvents
  • heavy metals
  • bacteria

…as a result of inferior hemp growing, harvesting, or extracting processes.

Most CBD Oils Tested Didn't Contain Enough CBD

Here’s just some of the proof that many brands are being dishonest about the potency of their CBD products:

Reporters from WTHR Channel 13 in Indianapolis, Indiana purchased 20 CBD products at local stores and sent all of them to a 3rd party lab for testing. Results indicate that 13 of the products contained less CBD than the label said — on average about 47% less!

Research published in the Journal of the American Medical Association looked at 84 CBD products and found that 69% of the products did NOT contain the amount of CBD claimed on the label!

Similar findings were discovered by investigators from NBC Channel 6 in South Florida. When they sent 35 CBD products to a 3rd party lab for testing they found that 71% of the products were lying about how much CBD their product contains.

Many Untested CBD Oils Are Actually Toxic!

Isaac Foster is the CEO of Colorado-based CBD company Endourage, but he’s an outspoken critic of the CBD industry as a whole…

“Low CBD levels should be the least of your concerns. Novice CBD producers are putting harmful, even toxic CBD products on the market. Are they consciously aware of the harm they’re doing to the industry at large, and to individual people? I’m not really sure, but that’s why we need solid industry standards that every CBD company follows.”

Foster is correct — because there are no laws requiring CBD producers to test their products, many CBD companies are creating toxic products containing dangerously high levels of pesticides, solvents, heavy metals, or microbes.

Pesticides

Hemp is a “bioaccumulator” — it pulls in toxins found in the soil — including pesticides. It’s best to avoid CBD oil made from hemp grown in soil that has been exposed to pesticides.

Solvents

One of the cheapest methods of extracting CBD oil from raw hemp plants involves toxic solvents like hexane, butane and propane. These solvents are supposed to evaporate, leaving only the CBD behind, but there can be solvent residues found in the CBD oil.

Heavy Metals

Heavy metals in soils — like lead and mercury — are the result of industrial and agricultural pollution. Because hemp is a bioaccumulator, it can suck up neurotoxic heavy metals from the soil, which show up in concentrated amounts in the resulting CBD oil.

Microbes

Dark, damp piles of recently harvested hemp are the perfect places for bacteria, yeast and fungi to flourish. Any microbes that are on the plant when the CBD is extracted will show up in the final CBD product.

As you can see, the CBD industry desperately needs increased safeguards to ensure that hemp products have been grown, harvested, and extracted in ways that are healthy for you and the environment.

Until that day comes it’s up to each individual consumer to do their own detective work to vet the companies that make their CBD products.
